It is listed at 1100 Summit Ave #106, Plano, TX 75074, which places it among the local businesses of Plano that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Auto repair in the United States is split between independent shops, dealership service departments and national chains. Independents handle most routine work (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, check-engine diagnostics) at lower labor rates and often specialize in one make or in imports; dealers keep factory tools, software and warranty authority; chains sell speed and standard pricing on maintenance items. Most shops charge a diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair if you go ahead, and quote parts and labor separately. Certification matters: look for ASE-certified technicians and, in many states, a state repair license posted at the counter. Written estimates are required by law in most states before work begins, and you are entitled to your old parts if you ask.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. The most common schedule is 7 amโ€“5:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. Plano is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Plano is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

So where do I start? Iโ€™ll just say that as a woman trying to navigate car maintenance it isnโ€™t easy. There are a lot of predators out there trying to bank off of our naivetรฉ. As a young woman, even my dad use to tell me donโ€™t get an oil change without me. But you donโ€™t have to worry about that at Tommyโ€™s. Their pricing is upfront and transparent with no surprise sticker shock. You can take your time to research and determine if their pricing schedule works for you. They even paid for my Lyft to and from and just today offered to cover my car wash. I think my dad would give them a thumbs up!!

I had a really great experience at Tommyโ€™s European Shop! They fixed my Mercedes much faster than I expected and kept me updated the whole time. Everyone was friendly, honest, and easy to communicate with. I felt like they genuinely cared about helping me and getting my car back on the road. Itโ€™s hard to find a shop you can trust, and Iโ€™m so glad I found them. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for great service!

Huge kudos to this auto shop! I got a few estimates on 5/15 for a simple repair on my Range Rover Evoque from other โ€œreputableโ€ shops and was honestly shocked that the quotes were anywhere from $1,700โ€“$2,100 โ€” even more than the Land Rover dealership quoted me. On Monday, 5/18, I reached out to Tommyโ€™s Euro, and within literally 2 minutes Matt Howard responded. A few hours later, I had a fair estimate, an after-hours drop-off scheduled, and a loaner vehicle ready for me. The entire process was smooth from start to finish. As a woman, taking my car in for repairs can honestly feel intimidating because my biggest fear is being overcharged or sold things I donโ€™t actually need. But that was the complete opposite of my experience here. Matt was communicative, honest, patient with all my questions, and genuinely willing to help with any concerns I had. What I appreciated most was that they were straightforward and didnโ€™t try to tack on unnecessary repairs or charge me for things my car truly didnโ€™t need. That kind of honesty is rare. Less than 24 hours after dropping my car off, I had it back and was already back to my normal routine. Car issues are stressful enough, so I just really

Helped me when I was in a bind stranded in Dallas with a bad center support bearing. The price was great and they helped me get on the road to get back home quickly! I would love for this to be a five star review, but the repair was not completed correctly, and the information I was given was false. Upon inspection after I made it home, the driveshaft bearing was installed upside down! I was also told that I would need a new driveshaft due to the guide bushing (part 2 in the diagram) was โ€œnot user serviceableโ€. I was able to replace the bushing in about 12 minutes after I removed the driveshaft. I am writing this review some 6 months after the service, and 4 months after I replaced the parts myself after the bearing failed from improper installation (lasting 2 months after Tommyโ€™s repair, constant vibration to add) 4 months after my replacement of the guide bushing and around 10k miles later, the car is vibration free and it does not appear that I need a new driveshaft. PLEASE ensure your tech has done your repairs properly!
